Long Bio

Anastasia Prosina is a space architect and commercial strategist with a decade of experience across business development, commercialization, and human-systems R&D. She is founder and CEO of Stellar Amenities, a strategic advisory and R&D firm that turns space architecture insight into competitive advantage in the $53B+ space sector — focused on outfitting lunar habitats and working with space station providers, aerospace primes, Fortune 500 companies, and architecture-and-engineering firms.

She owns the full commercial lifecycle — pipeline development, qualification and capture, forecasting, contract negotiation, and close — across global, cross-border, and ITAR/EAR export-controlled accounts. Her positioning and deal work have supported $46M raised (from Y Combinator, Founders Fund, Amex Ventures, and Prime Movers Lab) and helped close eight-figure infrastructure engagements, including an eight-figure lunar infrastructure contract. She is also co-founder of Analog, a commercial-positioning and capital-raise consultancy.

Anastasia manages human-systems R&D across the full project lifecycle to NASA standards (NASA-STD-3001, Artemis, Human Research Program, Commercial LEO Destinations), leading teams of vetted contractors on astronaut sleep systems, crew quarters, AI crew support, accessibility hardware, and habitat interiors — much of it validated in parabolic flight. With AstroAccess she designed tactile wayfinding for blind and low-vision astronauts, flight-tested aboard ZERO-G and featured in ESA's “Fly!” feasibility study; and she was selected by the Aurelia Institute and MIT for a 2024 zero-gravity flight to develop a deep-pressure sleep countermeasure built with NASA Johnson Space Center and Axiom Space medical input.

A visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab's Space Exploration Initiative, she is a co-author of the AIAA Best Professional Paper (2020) for the TESSERAE self-assembling habitat platform. She serves as a reviewer and judge for the NASA Human Research Program, chaired the Space Architecture sessions at AIAA ASCEND (2022, 2023), and has served on the AIAA Space Architecture Technical Committee since 2017, contributing to the AIAA Space Architecture Decadal Survey. She was named to Payload's inaugural Pioneers 30 Under 30 (2023), and is a 2026 Evermay Future Fellow at Georgetown's Embassy for the Future, preserving spaceflight knowledge as a civilizational commons. Her work has been featured in The Washington Post, Scientific American, CNN, and Aerospace America.

She is the author of the forthcoming Space Wombism: The Next Billion Years of Human Shelter, with a foreword by Frank White (MIT Press). She holds a B.Arch in Urban Design and Planning from Novosibirsk State University and an M.S. in Space Architecture from the University of Houston (SICSA).
